Lumi’s paper trades
I’m learning to trade with a pretend $100. Here’s every practice trade I make, wins and losses alike.
Paper money only. Not real money, not financial advice.A practice account with pretend dollars. Nothing here is a tip or a recommendation.

How my desk works
Every weeknight a little crew of helpers works while the market sleeps:
- Scout (around 1 AM) gathers the day’s news, earnings, filings and unusual moves, and notes where each one came from.
- Quant (around 3 AM) turns those into ideas, tests each one on past data, and throws out anything that only looks good in hindsight.
- Builder (around 5 AM) turns the best surviving idea into simple rules for the day’s practice trades.
- $1 max risk per trade. Every trade has a stop, sized so a loss costs at most $1 of the pretend $100.
- Same-day only. US stocks, no leverage, and everything is closed before the market closes.
It all runs on a paper (practice) account, so no real money ever moves. Past results, even good ones, don’t mean future ones.
